Do It Yourself

Grip Rock, Super G, and Brite Trac

These products work well on hazardous slippery floors (exposed to wet, greasy, or freezing environments). They are durable but light, made with tough components: ceramics, garnet, fiberglass, and polyurethane.

Chemically Stable

The Grip Rock and Super G floor mats stand up to many industrial spills and kitchen chemicals. The mats were tested with 3 months at elevated temperatures and total immersion in foods and cooking greases, oil and animal fats.

Grip Rock and Super G Key Benefits

  • Reduce workers’ compensation claims.
  • Resist fungal and bacterial growth.
  • Slip-resistant and easy to clean.
  • Grippy backing holds mats in place.
  • Available in 3-ft. widths, lengths from 4–40 ft.
  • Comfortable underfoot, extremely durable, light.
  • Example: 3 x 10 ft. weighs only 29 pounds. Rolls to 6–in. diameter for easy handling.

Where to use Grip Rock

  • Walk-In Freezer/Cooler

Grip Rock remains flexible at low temperatures, so the mat can be rolled to quickly remove accumulated ice. The mat is thin enough (less than 1/8 in.) to run under the door, adding slip resistance outside and inside the door, and on the threshold.

  • Washing Areas

Grip Rock’s slip resistance in wet areas affords superior protection.

  • Ice and Drink Machines

Grip Rock adds safety to wet slippery areas, especially those where people are moving quickly.

  • Buildings

Grip Rock is extremely effective on walkways, stairways, and over tile in heavily traveled areas that might become slippery.

Where to use Super G

  • Fry Areas

Super G is abrasive enough to handle excessive grease and reduce grease migration, but its light weight makes it simple to remove for daily cleaning.

  • Industry/Hospitals

Super G and Grip Rock are excellent solutions for areas exposed to wet, greasy, or freezing conditions.

How to Use

Lay the mat on a flat, clean, dry floor. Cut to fit by marking mat and cutting from the back with a utility knife. Do not cover irregular floor surfaces, especially floor drains.

How to Clean

Grip Rock and Super G were designed to take years of abuse. They should be cleaned daily. The mat’s light weight makes it easy to roll up (rough surface on the outside) and move to a cleaning area. Use mild detergent or degreaser (no bleach).

4 Easy Daily Cleaning Steps

  1. Water and detergent
  2. Deck brush
  3. Rinse with clean water while brushing
  4. Dry thoroughly

OR

  • Steam cleaner, medium pressure washer, and large dish washer.
  • Use industrial cleaners.
  • No chlorine bleach.

*** It is important after cleaning to thoroughly rinse the mat and hang it to dry while the floor dries.
